Lost since birth! Genius IQ but completely left-brained. Great at math, science, etc. (I'm a CPA) but absolutely incapable of anything requiring creativity or forming mental images. I also struggle a lot with facial recognition. Spent my life wandering around lost, sometimes panicked & crying, for so many hours that my family has called the police (thankfully cell phones & GPS have helped a bit). No matter how much I study maps, I lose all sense of direction as soon as I make a turn and am not going in the same direction as the map, or as soon as I go inside a building. I have left the table at restaurants to use the bathroom and could not find my way back and had to have my date come retrieve me (almost even missed a flight after being trapped in a casino for hours because I could not find the exit). Super embarrassing as professional in their late 40s now. I'm always very late for everything, and am now realizing it's likely I have undiagnosed ADHD which seems to be a comorbidity.
