I just recently moved to Calgary from BC 10 months ago.
I am 63 years old and live on my own.
I have always struggled with no sense of direction for as long as I can remember.
It was so frustrating for me because no one could understand when I would try to describe what went on in my head. They would always say your just lazy etc.
Since I have moved here I am finding it very difficult to get around. Thank goodness for GPS. I honestly could not survive without it.
This struggle made me search my symptoms. I was so happy when I saw all the information on line. My God! I truly am not making this up!
I also have a problem with numbers. I looked up my symptoms and again, there is a name for that too! Discalculia.
I am not alone! I am so glad I found this website. I only wish I had found it sooner.
